Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Compliance Analyst to join our State Filings team. This full-time position, State Filings and plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate submission of state regulatory filings for multiple Life and Health companies. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment managing high-volume tasks under tight deadlines while demonstrating strong analytical capabilities and independent judgment.
Shift Timings - 3:30 pm - 12 am/5:30pm - 2 am
Work Mode : Hybrid
Work Location: Sector 62, Gurugram
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit state-specific regulatory filings with accuracy and timeliness
Monitor and manage year-end close schedules to ensure complete and timely data filing
Process invoice payments and manage remittance submissions to meet due dates
Develop and deliver independent analysis and ad hoc reporting as required
Review filing work for team members during quarter-end and throughout the fiscal year
Identify process inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions to streamline workflows
Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with business and support units
Execute special projects and ad hoc initiatives as assigned, leveraging independent thinking and creative problem-solving approaches
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of relevant job experience
Self-starter with strong initiative and demonstrated ability to work independently
Proficiency with numerical analysis and strong comfort working with data and metrics
Reliable and dependable with consistent follow-through on commitments
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to think creatively and outside the box
Strong multitasking capabilities with proven ability to prioritize competing demands
Highly organized and detail-oriented with proven ability to meet tight deadlines
Demonstrated capacity for independent thinking and sound judgment
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Accountable and conscientious approach to deadline-driven work
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Compliance background or regulatory experience
Insurance and/or financial services industry experience
Experience working in medium-to-large organizations with multiple divisions
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel and Word)
Familiarity with StatementPRo (formerly EFreedom), SERFF, or OPTins platforms
