Financial Controller

Financial Controller Full-Time | Remote (UK) | Monthly Meetings in Central London

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to be hands-on and responsible for carrying out all bookkeeping, financial, and administrative tasks across a small group of privately owned companies. Working closely with a UK based multi-exit Founder.

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly invoicing and credit control

Supplier payments and accounts payable

Monthly management accounts

Quarterly VAT returns

Payroll processing

Annual statutory filings

Bank reconciliations and cash flow management

Liaising with external accountants and advisors

General company administration and reporting

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a similar role

Strong knowledge of UK accounting, VAT, payroll, and compliance requirements

Experience preparing management accounts

Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented

Comfortable working independently

Proficient with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software

Location: Remote working with monthly in-person meetings in Central London.

Salary: £35,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on experience and skill level, although there is flexibility for the right candidate.
