About the Role

BYD Energy Storage is the world's leading manufacturer of residential and commercial battery storage systems, with over 1.5 million systems installed globally. As Sales Manager, you will drive growth and BYD's residential energy storage business across your assigned market. You will own the full sales cycle — from identifying and onboarding new channel partners to closing deals and growing existing accounts — positioning BYD Battery-Box as the installer-preferred solution in a fast-growing European market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Channel & Partner Development

· Identify, approach, and onboard new solar installers, distributors, and channel partners in your market

· Build structured account plans for key partners: segmentation, growth targets, and penetration strategy

· Manage and develop a portfolio of existing accounts to increase revenue contribution

2. Sales Execution

· Drive end-to-end sales processes from lead generation through to deal closure

· Identify residential and small commercial project opportunities through industry networks

· Achieve and exceed assigned revenue and volume targets

· Prepare commercial offers, negotiate contracts, and manage pricing within defined frameworks

3. Technical & Product Enablement

· Deliver product presentations and solution workshops for installers and partners

· Support system design guidance and product positioning in competitive situations

· Act as the link between customers and internal technical/service teams

4. Market Intelligence

· Monitor energy storage market trends, competitor activity, and installer ecosystem developments

· Provide regular pipeline reports and account updates to sales leadership

· Contribute market feedback to product and strategy teams

Requirements

· Minimum 3 years' experience in solar PV, energy storage, or renewable energy sales

· Proven track record in channel development, B2B project sales, or account management

· Existing network of installers, EPCs, or distributors in the relevant market is a strong advantage

· Strong commercial negotiation and communication skills

· Willingness to travel regularly within the region and occasionally internationally

· Fluent in the local language of the target market; good English is required
