About the Role

BYD Energy Storage is the world's leading manufacturer of residential and commercial battery storage systems, with over 1.5 million systems installed globally. As Channel Management Specialist, you will structure and strengthen BYD's installer and distributor network in your market — designing partner programmes, managing distributor relationships strategically, and ensuring partners have the tools, training, and support to grow their BYD business. This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and product, and is central to scaling BYD's European residential market presence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Channel Partner Programme Management

· Design and manage structured partner programmes: tiers, incentives, certification, and co-marketing

· Develop and maintain partner agreements, pricing frameworks, and volume targets

· Run regular business reviews with key distributors and strategic installer accounts

2. Partner Enablement

· Produce and maintain channel-specific sales tools: pricing sheets, product guides, ROI calculators

· Coordinate with BYD's European service team on partner technical support queries

· Ensure partners have the product knowledge and materials to represent BYD effectively in their market

3. Market Development

· Identify gaps in the channel footprint and recruit new partners to fill them

· Analyse partner performance and develop action plans for underperforming accounts

· Represent BYD at trade shows, partner events, and industry associations

4. Reporting & Insights

· Track channel KPIs: sell-through, active partner count, certification levels, NPS

· Provide structured reporting to regional sales leadership

· Feed market and competitor intelligence back into product and marketing teams

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, or a related field

· 3+ years' experience in channel management, partner development, or B2B key account management

· Background in solar PV, energy storage, power electronics, or related clean energy technology

· Experience designing or managing structured partner/reseller programmes

· Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; comfortable engaging at director level

· Fluent in the local language of the target market; business-level English required

· Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a strong advantage

· Willingness to travel regularly within the region
