Laboratory Technician
About the role
Who are we?
We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy!
Responsible for setting up and executing all machine tests according to the plan defined by the Laboratory Manager and the provided test specifications, in compliance with environmental and safety procedures, ensuring the achievement of quality, time, and cost objectives.
What kind of work will you be doing?
Setup of units and related instrumentation for customer testing (assembly, disassembly, modification of units under test, etc.)
Ensuring safety of both the workplace and products under test
Timely verification of measurement consistency during testing and validation of results, contributing to accurate and consistent presentation of test data
Maintaining order and efficiency in work environments, measurement and workshop equipment, and test systems through periodic maintenance and updates as required
Operating in accordance with internal procedures and instructions based on role requirements
Collaboration with other company departments when required
Performing product certification activities at designated laboratories
What will make you successful?
Technical high school diploma (electrical, electronic, electromechanical, or thermal engineering)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
Basic knowledge of English and Microsoft Office
Theoretical and practical knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and refrigeration circuits
Basic knowledge of acoustics
Knowledge of measurement instruments and techniques, as well as basic IT skills
Knowledge of air conditioning units and chillers is a plus
Ability to work with various workshop tools
Relevant certifications in brazing and HVAC&R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration) are considered a plus
Hands-on approach

The anticipated salary range for this role in the Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy locality is between 33.000€ to 41.000€ gross per year [IF ROLE IS NON-EXEMPT: (based on a 40-hour work week)]—salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the initial interview. Compensation ranges are determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.
