Who are we?
We are currently seeking a Product Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy!
The Product Quality Engineer acts as the vital link between field performance and product evolution. You will leverage real-world data and "lessons learned" to harden manufacturing processes and influence future designs. By managing improvement initiatives and product analytics, you will ensure our existing portfolio and next-generation products exceed reliability and performance standards.
What kind of work will you be doing?
Analyzes field data to evaluate product performance post-launch, identifying failures, trends, and root causes to drive improvements.
Interfaces with factories to drive manufacturing improvements, implementing lessons learned from the field.
Interfaces with Engineering on quality and reliability performance requirements, providing inputs for DVT (Design and Validation Test) and DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis).
Contributes product PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis).
Defines and leads Product Quality Plan within project teams. (EOL procedure, checklist).
With reference to prototype builds, monitor execution, participate to approval process, and report results.
Cooperates with SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer) and Procurement surrounding supplied product performance requirements.
Assists Tech Support Team in the Root Cause Analysis and the development and implementation of effective Corrections and Preventive methods.
Assists upon request the plant Quality Manager in the development of Quality Processes and Inspection Plans for the detection and reduction of errors, and the monitoring of Critical to Quality processes.
Collects, analyzes, and reports on various measurement statistics and metrics for assigned product families.
Engaged upon request by Quality Project Manager in End to End (E2E) projects.
What will make you successful?
General knowledge of refrigerant systems from previous experience or related school background.
Experience in handling multiple problems and working on cross-functional project teams.
Knowledge of Quality Improvement methodologies and related statistical tools and techniques is a plus.
Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
Familiarity with Assembly and Manufacturing processes, Engineering drawings and specifications is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or in related field of study.
Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Engineering is a strong plus.

The anticipated salary range for this role in the Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy locality is between 31.000€ to 38.000€ gross per year [IF ROLE IS NON-EXEMPT: (based on a 40-hour work week)]—salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the initial interview. Compensation ranges are determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.
