Team Manager – Investment Banking Reconciliation

Key Responsibilities

Lead reconciliation teams across multiple functions including FOBO reconciliation, MF reconciliation, cash, trade, position, and nostro reconciliations.

Ensure operational excellence, quality, control compliance, and SLA adherence across all reconciliation activities.

Provide strategic oversight on break management, exception reporting, aged items, and operational risk mitigation.

Partner with senior stakeholders across front office, operations, finance, technology, risk, audit, custodians, and fund administrators.

Drive transformation initiatives including automation, process redesign, migrations, and productivity improvement.

Ensure robust governance and control framework for FOBO and MF reconciliation processes.

Review team capacity, resourcing, and productivity metrics to optimize delivery.

Lead audit responses, control reviews, and remediation planning.

Develop team leads, managers, and analysts through coaching and performance management.

Present operational updates, risks, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.

8–12+ years of experience in investment banking/financial operations reconciliations.

Strong expertise in FOBO reconciliation, MF reconciliation, and broader investment banking reconciliation operations.

Proven leadership in managing teams, stakeholders, controls, and transformation programs.

Strong governance, audit, risk management, and operational oversight capabilities.

Excellent communication, people management, and decision-making skills.

Experience with reconciliation tools and automation platforms preferred.

Experience in IntelliMatch is an added advantage.

Experience with IntelliMatch preferred however, TLM is also fine
