Summary of the Role

In this role, you will work as a Business Analyst in the airline/travel domain, gathering and translating business requirements into functional solutions.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to drive data‑informed decisions, support product delivery, and contribute to continuous improvement across systems and processes.

In This Role You’ll

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Perform data analysis, root cause analysis, and impact assessment to support decision‑making and solution design.

Conduct stakeholder workshops and collaborate with customers, product, and engineering teams to define and refine solutions.

Support end‑to‑end delivery, including validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and alignment across lifecycle stages.

Identify gaps and improvement opportunities, using analytics and insights to enhance processes and product outcomes.

About the Ideal Candidate

Around 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the airline or travel domain.

Strong understanding of airline systems such as reservations, inventory, ticketing, and Departure Control Systems (DCS).

Proficiency in data analysis using Structured Query Language (SQL) or other analytical tools, with strong problem‑solving skills.

Ability to communicate effectively, lead workshops, and translate technical concepts into business understanding.

Experience with Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), stakeholder collaboration, and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
