Group Summary:

The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.

Job Responsibilities:

$65,000 - $79,900 annual(Salaried Grade 8)

General Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.

Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation activities.

Support employee relations, performance management, investigations, and corrective action processes.

Administer attendance management, disability claims, workplace accommodations, and return-to-work programs.

Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems (Dayforce), and reporting while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.

Support compensation, benefits, payroll-related activities, and employee inquiries.

Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.

Partner with operational leaders on workforce planning, employee engagement, training, and organizational development initiatives.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field (required).

3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a generalist capacity.

Experience supporting one or more of the following areas:

Recruitment and onboarding

Employee relations

Performance management

Policy administration

Training and development

Attendance management

Health and safety initiatives

Knowledge & Skills

Working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS.

Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with team members, employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.

Assets

Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

CHRP designation or working toward completion is considered an asset
