At SimCorp, we facilitate the streamlining of investment decisions, accounting, and operations for major global financial institutions. We do this through IT systems, processes, and financial knowledge. Implementing our software by way of high-quality projects is at the core of what we do.

The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role within the North American Consulting organization, focusing on data analytics, business reporting, and executive support. This role involves driving operational analytics, monthly business reporting, supporting Consulting organization in conjunction with finance to manage P&L, revenue forecasting and budget process, and more.

This role involves close collaboration and partnership with the VP of North America and the supporting leadership team, Finance Business Partner, Head of Business Operations & Strategy, Commercial, and others.

What you will be responsible for

Lead data analytics and reporting for utilization, forward load, capacity planning, and operational KPIs to drive business performance.

Partner with North America leadership and Finance to support P&L management, revenue forecasting, and budget planning.

Deliver accurate and timely business reporting, including monthly and quarterly dashboards for executive stakeholders.

Identify and implement process improvements using data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Develop and maintain analytics tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to visualize trends and enable informed decision-making.

What We Value

5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in finance, business performance, or a technology-enabled environment

Proficient verbal and written communication skills (English Language) with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner

Strong technical proficiency in tools such as PowerBI, SQL, VBA, macros, Excel, and financial modeling

Proven ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives from concept to execution

Comfortable communicating complex ideas in a clear and engaging way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

A naturally curious and analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Collaborative and adaptable, with a willingness to grow and support others in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related analytical or technical field is preferred

Based in Toronto with the ability to attend the office at least two days per week.

For Toronto only: The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off and Group RRSP/TFSA.
