JOB SUMMARY

To assist IQC on technical support for the materials incoming inspection. Monitor IQC inspection equipment / gauge calibration and maintenance status. Work with SQE and workcell engineers to handle the incoming quality issues related to IQC and take preventative actions if possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide technical support to IQC technicians and inspectors.

Support on SAP system issue about IQC internally.

Support other parties (ME, QE etc) on material dimension / function verification.

Work with related parties (SQE, workcell, QE/ME etc) to improve incoming performance by reducing those non-quality related QN (quality notification).

To assure the equipment / tool used in IQC are in proper status.

Provide training to IQC technician, leader and inspector where necessary.

To deal with workcell complaints about IQC problem, provide valuable input to IQC and take actions when necessary.

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.

Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.

Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.

Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs
