Let’s Talk about the Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will report to the Local Finance Manager and work closely with both the Central Finance team and our Shared Service Center.

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and supporting the continuous improvement of accounting processes in a dynamic international environment.

How You Will Make a Difference

Manage and review monthly financial reporting and support month-end and year-end closing activities

Prepare statutory financial statements and liaise with auditors and external consultants

Manage VAT returns (monthly and annual) and ensure compliance with local regulations

Prepare Intrastat declarations and support tax calculations

Coordinate with external tax advisors and monitor tax deadlines

Support internal and external audits

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data accuracy

Collaborate with Shared Services on transactional accounting activities

Contribute to process improvements and strengthening internal controls

Skills for Success

You will have a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

A minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally within a multinational environment

You will demonstrate to possess a strong knowledge of Italian and US GAAP and local tax regulations (VAT, Intrastat, withholding taxes)

A solid experience in financial reporting and audit processes, a good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel skills

You will be fluent in Italian and English

You are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
