Senior Account Executive

Responsibilities / Position overview:

Stripe Communications is looking for an ambitious, smart-thinking Senior Account Executive to join the team in Edinburgh.

In this role across PR, influence, social and content, you will collaborate with clients and colleagues across Stripe to deliver creative and effective campaigns that are on time, on budget and demonstrate the highest possible quality.

You will deliver ‘earned first’ PR projects, manage a busy Press Office to secure proactive media coverage, handle reactive media enquiries, oversee day-to-day account administration, execute creative activations, plans and news hijacking ideas, and proactively pitch and secure media and influencer coverage that aligns with the clients’ objectives.

This role includes day-to-day client account and channel management, creative content planning and capture, content distribution via organic and paid, influencer research and management, gathering data and conducting research for both existing clients and new business opportunities, and content/campaign evaluation.

Manage account activity day-to-day, keeping campaigns on track and ensuring excellence in all outputs.

Deliver work to a high standard, taking on board client and colleague feedback and aim to minimise amends and corrections as your ability, experience and confidence grows

Understand your clients’ businesses inside out, get to grips with their goals, build relationships with them that help you work brilliantly together.

Represent the agency via external networking, follow trends and new innovations within the communications arena.

Get to know everything you can about social platforms, creative content, trends, influencers, and how we can apply them for client brands.

Continue your understanding of, exposure to, and management of Stripe’s digital services, helping integrate digital into everything we do.

Ensure you understand and follow finance processes and deadlines and ask for training if you need it.

Qualifications:

Strong writing and presentation skills to produce accurate and engaging copy across different platforms.

Influencer identification and management tools such as Klear

Facebook/Meta Business Manager and Ads Manager

Tools such as Meltwater, Roxhill, Hootsuite
