Quality Engineer - 1st. Shift - St. Joseph DAP
About the role
What you will do
Conduct quality assurance analysis to monitor day-to-day production processes and ensure compliance with standards.
Refine production methods by analyzing operational data and identifying opportunities for efficiency gains.
Drive supplier improvements through continuous monitoring of product quality and performance metrics.
Develop testing and training methods to validate product standards and upskill teams.
Conduct audits and generate findings reports to recommend corrective and preventative actions.
Measure success through KPIs such as defect reduction, audit compliance scores, supplier performance ratings, and cycle-time improvements.

Achieve measurable reductions in product defects and rework.
Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards through effective audits.
Increase efficiency in production processes by implementing refined methods.
Maintain accurate and actionable reporting that drives corrective actions.
Build a culture of continuous improvement through training and testing programs.
Deliver consistent improvements in supplier product quality and reliability.
What we look for
University degree with 1-year minimum experience, or 2-year degree with 6 years minimum experience, or equivalent combination.
Data analysis skills with ability to interpret and act on quality metrics.
Audit and reporting experience in a production or supplier environment.
Knowledge of quality standards and methods for testing, sampling, and training.
Preferred
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Supplier management experience in manufacturing or production settings.
Familiarity with QA software tools for tracking and reporting.
