The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Mining Engineer to join our Brisbane team. As our client portfolio grows across the resources, energy and industrial sectors, this position will help support and our engineering and design capabilities. This a great opportunity for a talented and passionate engineer to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Assist in mine design and planning, including pit design, staging, and scheduling

Develop and maintain models using Deswik and/or MineSched

Support hydraulic mining design, including:

o Production modelling (t/h, availability, slurry density)

o Water balance and pumping requirements

o Equipment selection and layout (monitors, pipelines, sumps)

Here’s what you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent)

1–4 years’ experience in mining engineering or related fiel

Exposure to or experience in hydraulic mining (highly preferred)
