Job Description
As the successful candidate for this engineering software development position, you will join an existing team in a key position working on developing products and platforms geared toward remotely collecting and analyzing Agilent instrument information for supporting and maintaining instrument operation across the customer enterprise.
You will be expected to have a broad range of software development experience including system design and large, complex product development utilizing web and cloud architectures. Fluency in C# and modern .NET (e.g., .NET 6+) is expected; experience with legacy .NET Framework applications is a plus.
Experience working with teams in multiple locations around the world is required.
In-depth technical knowledge and experience is required for the development of .NET and web products along with a keen understanding of cloud-based products in an AWS environment. Expertise with AWS managed services S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, and Redshift technologies is highly desired.
Strong communication and teamwork with product marketing, product support, and quality—with the ability to translate ideas into reality—is an absolute must for success in this position. A successful history of developing software products, working with product release teams, and introducing these products to market is key.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar) to improve productivity and code quality is desired, along with sound engineering judgment and strong software fundamentals.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar discipline or equivalent.
8+ years in a range of software technologies including design and development experience.
Full stack software development proficiency including experience with C# and .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js and a modern single page application web framework such as Angular.
Experience with both relational and non-relational databases such as Mongo or DynamoDB.
Experience developing distributed applications using microservices.
A demonstrable track record of successful project implementation.
Development experience with teams using Agile/Scrum life cycle processes.
Development experience with AWS cloud services is highly desired including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
Experience with legacy Microsoft desktop and web technologies (e.g., WPF, WinForms, jQuery, etc.) is a plus.
Experience using AI-assisted coding tools to support design, implementation, testing, refactoring, and documentation is a plus.
Additional Details

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $143,760.00 - $269,550.00/yr USD in the US, or $112,418.00 - $198,319.00/yr CAD in Canada, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
