This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in NYC. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Learning Experience Designer to join our team! This role will primarily support learning design for our Planning, Allocation, and Replenishment (PAR) team. The Learning Experience Designer will create and deliver high-impact, business-aligned learning solutions that build merchant capability and enable new ways of working across the enterprise. Partnering closely with merchant leaders and subject matter experts, this role leads deep needs assessments to translate complex platforms, processes, and product allocation strategies into practical, scalable learning experiences. The Learning Experience Designer brings an agile mindset, strong facilitation and collaboration skills, and a continuous learning orientation—leveraging emerging technologies, including AI, to drive efficiency, relevance, and measurable performance outcomes through blended learning and facilitation.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learning opportunities and design experiences that address skill and performance gaps
Design, test, and deliver agile, blended learning solutions that support merchant capabilities and evolving ways of working
Facilitate and influence: engage leaders and SMEs through engaging, high‑impact learning experiences that drive application, adoption, and sustained behavior change
Leverage AI and modern L&D technologies to accelerate design, personalization, and scale while improving learner outcomes
Leverage data and feedback to test, measure, and continuously refine learning solutions, driving adoption, behavior change, and capability impact
Stay current on L&D design trends and technologies to inform future learning strategy, priorities, and continuous improvement of learning solutions
Act as a learning administrator of the Learning Management System (Skillsoft)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Fluency with authoring/visual tools a plus (e.g., Articulate 360, Canva)
5+ years experience in related roles
Proven experience building business-aligned learning/enablement in complex or matrixed environments (retail/merchant preferred)
Strength in needs assessment and performance diagnostics, translating business problems into scalable learning and workflow support
Facilitation and consulting presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and enable SMEs
Applied adult learning principles with agile, iterative design across blended modalities
AI-curious and data-informed; comfortable experimenting to improve speed, personalization, and impact
Demonstrated ability to measure impact and continuously improve based on insights
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel as needed (minimal)

Benefits
The annual base salary range is $90000-$95000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with team performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
