About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 7+ years of experience in automation testing, API validation, microservices testing, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of modern healthcare applications through scalable automation frameworks and continuous quality engineering practices.

This position requires strong expertise in API testing, UI automation, integration testing, CI/CD, and cloud-native application testing. Experience within healthcare systems, interoperability standards, and AI-assisted quality engineering is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Quality Engineering

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and workflow testing.

Build and execute automated regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites.

Create comprehensive test strategies covering APIs, microservices, workflows, integrations, and data validation.

Support shift-left testing practices across the software development lifecycle.

API & Integration Testing

Validate REST APIs, integrations, response accuracy, error handling, resilience, and fallback scenarios.

Perform API contract testing using OpenAPI specifications and schema validation.

Test asynchronous, event-driven workflows and distributed system interactions.

Ensure reliability and consistency across internal and external system integrations.

#Microservices & Distributed Systems

Test complex microservices-based architectures and cloud-native applications.

Validate workflow orchestration, business rules, and distributed transactions.

Verify system behavior under failure, retry, and recovery scenarios.

Continuous Testing & DevOps

Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Support automated quality gates for builds, deployments, and releases.

Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams.

#Data Validation & Performance Testing

Perform backend validation using SQL and database testing techniques.

Validate data consistency across multiple systems and services.

Conduct performance, scalability, and reliability testing.

Assess throughput, latency, and resilience under varying workloads.

#Compliance & Observability

Validate audit logs, distributed tracing, monitoring, and observability metrics.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.

Support traceability and explainability requirements for rule-based and AI-enabled workflows.

Required Skills

Automation Testing

7+ years of QA Automation experience.

Strong expertise in test automation framework design and implementation.

Experience with:

Selenium

Cypress

Playwright

Postman

REST Assured

API & Backend Testing

REST API testing and validation.

API contract testing and schema validation.

Strong SQL and backend data validation skills.

Architecture & Integration

Microservices architecture testing.

Distributed systems testing.

Event-driven and asynchronous workflow validation.

Test data management and integration testing.

DevOps & CI/CD

Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of modern DevOps and Continuous Testing practices.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare domain experience.

Experience testing AI/ML-enabled applications.

Exposure to performance testing tools and methodologies.
