Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic global operations team focused on managing end-to-end hardware fulfillment for data centers around the world. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in coordinating purchase order fulfillment activities, working cross-functionally with suppliers, logistics teams, sourcing partners, and data center operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of hardware at scale. This is a highly hands-on, operational role that requires a strong analytical mindset, deep supply chain expertise, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable working independently, and brings both strategic thinking and tactical execution to every challenge.
Job Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end purchase order fulfillment activities for hardware deliveries to data centers globally
Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, sourcing teams, and data center operations to ensure on-time delivery
Monitor and resolve hardware shortages, delivery delays, and fulfillment gaps proactively
Review and approve production schedules, work orders, and shipment documentation to ensure accuracy and conformance to standards
Assess materials requirements and establish material priorities in alignment with operational needs
Confer with department supervisors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to evaluate progress and implement necessary adjustments
Revise fulfillment schedules as needed due to design changes, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions
Distribute production schedules and work orders to relevant departments
Compile and analyze reports on inventory levels, costs, and fulfillment performance metrics
Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to communicate supply chain performance and insights to stakeholders
Write and execute SQL queries independently to extract, analyze, and interpret supply chain data
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and present findings to leadership
Requirements
8 to 10 years of supply chain planning or related experience required
Minimum 5 years of hands-on SQL experience for data querying and analysis required
Demonstrated experience creating Power BI dashboards and performing analytics in an operational environment
Background in the technology industry strongly preferred
Proven experience in a hands-on, operational supply chain role rather than a purely oversight-focused capacity
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, business, or a related field preferred
Strong supply chain planning and coordination skills with a focus on hardware or infrastructure fulfillment
Proficiency in SQL with the ability to independently write and execute data queries
Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards for operational reporting
Strong analytical capability including data interpretation and insights generation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex fulfillment issues
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams
Solid understanding of logistics, procurement, and production scheduling processes
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production
Ability to accurately document and record supplier and fulfillment information
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Location: Remote
Duration: 13 months
Pay Range*: $37 - $42 per hour
Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
Job Status: Non-Exempt
