About the role
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Associate Intern to support our sales, distribution, and business development activities. This internship provides hands-on exposure to lead generation, customer acquisition, distributor coordination, sales operations, and market research.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and qualify business leads through research, calling, emails, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels.
Contact prospective customers and schedule meetings for business development activities.
Conduct regular follow-ups with leads, customers, and business partners.
Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, quotations, and business correspondence.
Coordinate with Super Stockists (SS), Distributors (DB), and channel partners for sales and operational requirements.
Follow up on orders, stock availability, distributor documentation, and sales updates.
Coordinate with logistics and internal teams to ensure timely product dispatch and delivery.
Maintain customer, distributor, and lead databases along with CRM records.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
Support Amazon, Flipkart, and other marketplace-related operations as required.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and business development reports (MIS).
Required Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good verbal and written communication in English and Hindi.
Confidence in making outbound calls and interacting with customers.
Strong coordination, follow-up, and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
Basic understanding of sales, marketing, and business development concepts.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
MBA (Marketing) students or recent graduates preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Interest in Business Development, Sales, Lead Generation, and Sales Coordination.
FMCG, Beverage, Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods, or Retail industry exposure will be an added advantage.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
Immediate joiners preferred.
