Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities for gensets and related services
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
Prepare and deliver technical-commercial proposals
Handle inquiries, tenders, and negotiations
2. Account Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
Act as the main point of contact for customer queries and requirements
Ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction
3. Order Processing & Coordination
Coordinate with production, logistics, and service teams for timely delivery
Track order status and keep customers updated
Ensure proper documentation (POs, invoices, dispatch details)
4. Payment Follow-ups
Monitor receivables and ensure timely payment collection
Resolve billing or commercial issues with clients
5. Market Intelligence
Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends
Provide feedback to management for strategy improvement
6. Technical Understanding
Basic understanding of gensets (diesel/gas generators), capacity (kVA), applications
Ability to explain product features and benefits to clients
Required Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Basic technical knowledge of generators/power equipment
Sales and customer relationship management
Problem-solving and coordination ability
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (B.Com / BBA / BE Mechanical / Electrical preferred)
2–5 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably gensets or similar equipment
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Sales target achievement
Customer retention rate
Collection efficiency (DSO)
Order execution timelines
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
