About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI-Focused Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Data Engineering, AI/ML implementation, and Cloud Technologies, with a proven track record of building scalable data platforms and deploying AI-driven solutions in production environments.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI initiatives, large-scale data processing systems, and cloud-native architectures that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data processing.
Develop AI-powered solutions including intelligent automation, document processing, and chatbot applications.
Deploy, integrate, and monitor AI/ML models in production environments.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
Work with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and modern data architectures.
Support data transformation, analytics, and reporting workflows.
Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, scalability, and operational excellence.
Implement monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management practices for AI/ML solutions.
Required Skills & ExperienceData Engineering
Strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Apache Spark.
Extensive experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
Expertise in large-scale data processing and distributed computing frameworks.
Experience with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and modern data architectures.
AI/ML & MLOps
Hands-on experience implementing and supporting AI/ML solutions in production.
Experience integrating AI/ML models, APIs, and enterprise applications.
Understanding of MLOps practices including model deployment, monitoring, versioning, and lifecycle management.
Experience working with Generative AI and LLM-based solutions is highly desirable.
Cloud Platforms
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred) or AWS.
Experience with cloud-native data services and scalable architectures.
Familiarity with security, governance, and performance optimization on cloud platforms.
Soft Skills
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Good to Have
Azure AI Services / Azure OpenAI Services
Kafka and real-time streaming data pipelines
CI/CD implementation for Data and AI platforms
Experience with AI/ML Ops and automation frameworks
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
