Snowflake Developer (3+ Years Experience)Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer with at least 3 years of experience in data warehousing, cloud data platforms, and ETL/ELT development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, cloud technologies, and data integration tools to design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data warehouses and data marts using Snowflake.

Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for loading data from various sources into Snowflake.

Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, tasks, and streams in Snowflake.

Implement data modeling techniques including star schema and snowflake schema.

Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, query execution, and storage utilization.

Configure and manage Snowflake security, roles, access controls, and data governance policies.

Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.

Troubleshoot data quality issues and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Support CI/CD deployment processes and data pipeline automation.

Create technical documentation and maintain data architecture standards.

Required Skills

3+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and BI projects.

3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.

Strong proficiency in SQL and query optimization.

Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as:

Informatica

Talend

Matillion

dbt

Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Apache Airflow

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of Snowflake features:

Virtual Warehouses

Snowpipe

Streams & Tasks

Time Travel

Zero-Copy Cloning

Data Sharing

Materialized Views

Understanding of data modeling and dimensional modeling concepts.

Experience with Git and version control systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Python, Shell Scripting, or PySpark.

Knowledge of Data Lake architectures.

Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with reporting tools such as:

Power BI

Tableau

Looker

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Snowflake certifications are a plus, such as:

SnowPro Core Certification

SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
