Outside Territory Sales Executive
DBK Innovations, LLC.

DBK Innovations is a licensed adult use company focused on premium product distribution, brand development, and retail partnerships throughout New York State. With over six years of experience operating in the alternative lifestyle and cannabis market, DBK Innovations is expanding the footprint of its in-house cannabis brand, Apollo Cannabis Co., across licensed dispensaries statewide.
We are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Outside Territory Sales Executive to build and maintain dispensary partnerships, increase product sell-through, and market share throughout assigned territories in New York.
Position Summary
The Outside Territory Sales Executive is responsible for developing new wholesale accounts, servicing existing dispensary relationships, increasing product penetration, and representing the Apollo Cannabis Co. brand in the field. This role requires consistent travel, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving regulated market.
The ideal candidate has experience in cannabis, beverage alcohol, CPG, pharmaceuticals, or outside B2B sales and understands how to build long-term customer relationships while driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, develop, and close new dispensary accounts throughout assigned New York territories
Maintain and grow existing retail partnerships through regular in-person visits and relationship management
Present Apollo Cannabis Co. products to dispensary buyers, managers, and budtenders
Conduct product trainings and educational sessions for dispensary staff
Execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals
Increase shelf presence, menu placement, and promotional opportunities
Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends
Coordinate with internal operations and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth order execution
Attend industry networking events, pop-ups, vendor days, and trade shows
Maintain CRM records, sales reports, route schedules, and account notes
Collaborate with marketing to support product launches and promotions
Ensure all sales activity remains compliant with New York State cannabis regulations
Qualifications
2+ years of outside sales or account executive experience preferred
Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred
Existing relationships with licensed New York dispensaries is a major plus
Strong understanding of cannabis products, terminology, and retail operations
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory
Must be 21+ years of age and eligible to work in the cannabis industry
