A forward‑thinking organization within the infrastructure and sustainable energy space is seeking a Project Manager (Specialist Level) to support a high‑priority EV partnership initiative. This role has been created to provide dedicated coordination and oversight during a critical phase of partner onboarding and legal negotiation.

This is a 3–6 month contract opportunity offering exposure to large‑scale infrastructure initiatives, cross‑functional collaboration, and executive stakeholder engagement. The role also provides the opportunity to support additional business initiatives beyond core project work.

Your New Role

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving execution and maintaining momentum across a complex partnership initiative focused on EV infrastructure deployment. Acting as the central coordinator, you’ll ensure alignment across legal, commercial, operational, and technical stakeholders during negotiations and onboarding.

This role is best suited for a hands‑on project professional who thrives in fast‑paced environments and enjoys managing multiple workstreams while keeping deliverables on track.

This is a Toronto‑based hybrid role, with an expectation of onsite presence as required for stakeholder coordination. Standard Monday–Friday business hours apply, with some flexibility given the nature of the workload.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day‑to‑day coordination and execution of project activities across the partnership initiative

Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and key deliverables

Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders including legal, procurement, technical, and operations teams

Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and maintain status reporting

Monitor project progress and prepare updates and briefing materials for senior leadership

Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate where appropriate

Ensure timely completion of key deliverables aligned to partnership timelines

Support onboarding activities and coordination of external partners

Assist with governance, documentation, approvals, and project control processes

Promote accountability and alignment across stakeholders

Contribute to development of scalable partnership and deployment models

Provide additional support to broader business initiatives as needed

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Postsecondary degree or diploma in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field

2+ years of project management or project coordination experience

Proven experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders in complex environments

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Experience tracking project plans, risks, and deliverables

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Excel, MS Project, Asana, or similar)

Ability to work independently while driving progress across teams

Nice to Haves

PMP certification or equivalent

Experience in infrastructure, energy, transportation, or public sector environments

Exposure to EV charging, sustainability initiatives, or related industries

Familiarity with procurement, contracts, or legal coordination processes

Experience supporting partnership or vendor onboarding initiatives
