What You Will Work On
Delivering Solutions:
Actively cultivate relationships within the organization, engaging in exchange of ideas, gaining necessary buy-in and support needed to meet operational goals
Partner with the Planning function on daily operational requirements and communicate execution plan, supporting optimal and efficient product flow
Provide daily and ad hoc reporting as needed to meet daily goals and objectives
Core Accountabilities
Business Expertise and Leadership:
Lead, drive performance goals and manage, coach and develop a team of departmental managers responsible for the end-to-end operations and shift deliverables
Applies management expertise aligned to implementation and actions associated with annual operating business plan
Continuously evaluate, analyze, recommend and enable implementation of innovative processes and procedures that foster improvement of operations, productivity and service
Lead and drive the fundamentals and operations in service of fostering trust, inclusivity, Nike’s values, champion and recognize achievements
Model and support a positive Nike employee culture, experience and environment
Who You Will Work With
Reporting to the Distribution Centre Operations Director, and playing an active role on the leadership team, as the Operations Manager leading the midnight shift from 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. you will provide leadership and drive operational performance results, ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and financial objectives are met.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree, or College Diploma / High School Diploma
Minimum 5-7 years’ relevant work experience managing small to large teams in a Distribution Centre setting
Experience in Supply Chain Operations required
Proven team management and leadership experience
Proficiency in advanced use of all MS tools, inclusive of EXCEL and PowerPoint
Proficiency in Manhattan warehouse management systems an asset
Proficiency in oral / written English. French is an asset but not mandatory
Ability to work in a collaborative, cross functional organization, multi-task, problem solve and meet deadlines is critical
Periodic availability for off-cycle meetings as necessary
