THE ROLE

The role of Delivery Director (PAC) and Services Operations Lead (APAC) is to drive the establishment and ongoing management of an APAC-wide services operations function while overseeing and acting as escalation point for delivery of projects in the PAC region. The role will oversee two functions – a group of PAC project managers and a regional operations team.

OPPORTUNITIES

Establish and manage an operations function to drive process design, implementation and adherence that contribute to the management of the APAC services business

Work with global teams and owners to establish an operations function that compliments existing Temenos functions, while improving the operational management and focus within the APAC region

Liase with APAC counterparts in the Consulting and Support teams to design and implement processes that streamline the engagement with other areas of the regional business

Oversee the delivery of projects in the PAC region to ensure delivery against time and budget, with appropriate project controls for financial and risk management

Continuously review and implement HR related decisions to ensure team capacity and skills are aligned with the forecasted projects and strategic direction of the APAC services business

Ensure a strong financial management and commercial view of the operations and PAC project management team to meet budget commitments

Identify and implement strategic and tactical opportunities to continually improve ways of working and delivery outcomes across the Services business

Act as an escalation point for PACS projects to guide and mentor Project Managers through management of issues and risks pertaining to their projects

Support ongoing training and career development of the project management and operations teams

Develop key customer relationships within the PAC region

Act as a senior management representative to the broader Temenos team based in the PAC region, primarily based in the Sydney regional head office

Contribute as key member of the PAC leadership team to region-specific business opportunities and challenges

SKILLS

Minimum 5 years of experience with banking, implementation and management of delivery-based operations and program management across a portfolio of projects.

Rich experience in one or more areas of banking, preferable retail banking and end-to-end offering.

You are a positive and committed self-starter, structured, goal-oriented and possess a solid commercial understanding.

You have a good sense of ownership and come across as a likeable and trustworthy professional able to build trusted relationships with customers.

You are a strong team player and embraces dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

You exhibit the qualities of a trusted leader able to drive team culture within direct reports and across the broader business as part of the PAC leadership team.

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills (oral and written).
