About the role

This is your opportunity to take the lead on a national role that directly supports how Bunnings delivers living, breathing products to customers every day.

As our National Greenlife Crossdock Operations Manager, you’ll shape how a complex logistics network operates, balancing service, cost, and safety while driving meaningful improvements.

You’ll work across transport, suppliers and crossdock operations, bringing together data, people and process to ensure fit-for-purpose models as the business continues to grow.

What’s involved

Leading a national crossdock network, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable delivery outcomes for stores and customers

Owning transport and crossdock performance, with real influence over cost, service levels and long-term optimisation

Partnering with suppliers, carriers and service providers to improve outcomes, strengthen relationships and align on shared goals

Identifying opportunities to redesign and improve network performance, challenging the status quo to unlock smarter ways of working

Using data and insights to guide decision-making, solve problems early and continuously improve service and cost performance

Leading a geographically dispersed team, building capability and creating a strong culture of accountability, collaboration and growth

Shaping how the network responds to seasonality, demand changes and future growth opportunities

Who we’re looking for

You’re someone who thrives in complex environments where no two days are the same. You enjoy bringing structure to ambiguity, using both data and experience to guide decisions and influence outcomes. Collaboration comes naturally, you build trusted relationships across teams and with external partners, and you’re comfortable balancing competing priorities across a fast-paced business,

You lead with clarity and purpose, supporting your team to perform at their best while creating space for development and new ideas.

Most importantly, you’re motivated by the chance to improve how things work—not just for efficiency, but to better support stores, suppliers and customers.

You’ll need:

Proven senior level leadership experience in transport, logistics or supply chain environments

Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, costs or P&L outcomes

Experience in crossdock operations, transport networks or supplier management

Ability to analyse data and translate it into clear, actionable insights

A track record of driving continuous improvement and optimisation initiatives

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across teams and partners

Experience leading and developing teams across multiple locations

Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain or a related discipline (desirable)

Exposure to greenlife, horticulture or perishable/time-sensitive supply chains is highly regarded

This role will be based between our NSW Support Office and our Erskine Park Crossdock, occasional interstate travel will be required.
