For KINARA Glasgow, a Business Development Manager would typically focus on increasing restaurant sales, developing catering and event opportunities, building corporate partnerships, strengthening brand visibility, and supporting future expansion plans.

Responsibilities

1. Business Growth and Revenue Generation

Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.

Identify new revenue streams, such as catering, corporate events, private dining, and delivery services.

2. Marketing and Customer Acquisition

Work with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns and seasonal offers.

Develop initiatives to attract new customers and increase repeat business.

Build relationships with local businesses, community groups, hotels, and tourism operators.

Enhance the restaurant’s online presence and reputation.

3. Corporate and Commercial Partnerships

Secure corporate catering contracts and event bookings.

Develop partnerships with local organisations, offices, universities, and event venues.

4. Market Research and Analysis

Analyse competitor activity, pricing strategies, and market trends.

Identify opportunities for expansion into new locations or service offerings.

Prepare business reports and growth forecasts for management.

5. Customer Relationship Management

Maintain relationships with key clients and corporate accounts.

Handle high-value customer enquiries and negotiate contracts.

Gather customer feedback and recommend service improvements.

6. Financial Planning and Performance Monitoring

Prepare sales forecasts and business development budgets.

Monitor revenue performance and return on investment for marketing activities.

7. Brand Development

Promote the restaurant’s brand and unique selling points.

Represent the business at networking events, trade shows, and community activities.

Develop strategies to strengthen market positioning and brand awareness.

8. Supporting Business Expansion

Assist with opening new restaurant locations or business units.

Conduct feasibility studies and market assessments.

Develop business plans for expansion projects.
