Position Overview and Objective
We are looking for a Senior Developer to join a small, dedicated team focused on leading complex design and development efforts for the next generation of Arctic Wolf’s parsing platform, a critical layer in our data pipeline that enables ingestion and normalization of diverse data sources.
Arctic Wolf processes trillions of events per day from a wide range of on-premise devices and cloud platforms. This data powers detection, analytics, and customer-facing workflows across the platform. As the volume, variety, and complexity of data continue to grow in a rapidly changing AI-amplified threat landscape, the need for scalable, adaptable data processing systems is increasingly critical.
This team will design and build the next generation of the parsing framework, improving how data is transformed, validated, and made usable across the pipeline.

Design and lead major components of the parsing framework
Improve scalability and flexibility across data workflows
Design and scale high-performance services in real-time data systems
Lead deployment of containerized services in production
Mentor engineers and guide technical execution
Experience & Requirements
6–10 years of software engineering experience
Experience building complex distributed systems
Ability to navigate ambiguous problem spaces
Experience solving performance and scalability challenges in high-throughput, large-scale systems
Interested in working at the intersection of large-scale data systems and cybersecurity
Passionate about building high-quality, production-grade software
Experience building and deploying services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Comfortable working with distributed systems and microservices architectures
Experience building high-performance, high-throughput systems
Familiarity with event-driven or stream processing systems (e.g., Kafka, Flink, Spark, Reddis, SQS, RabbitMQ, or other pub-sub systems)
Experience working with modern containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Golang, Python, or Java
Comfortable working in environments with continuous integration and deployment practices
