An operations manager in the food industry oversees end-to-end production, supply chain, and staff management. They ensure food safety and quality compliance, optimize kitchen or factory workflows to maximize efficiency, and manage budgets to reduce operational costs.
Hygiene & Sanitation: Implementing strict protocols for personal hygiene, equipment sanitation, and waste disposal to prevent contamination.
Audits: Acting as the primary point of contact for external health and safety inspectors
Inventory Control: Conducting real-time stock counts to ensure the availability of raw materials and prevent spoilage.
Vendor Coordination: Sourcing high-quality ingredients, negotiating terms with suppliers, and managing procurement budgets.
Staffing: Recruiting, onboarding, and training production or service staff on standardized recipes and safety.
Performance Management: Setting daily output targets, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of accountability
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
