R&D Designer Engineer
About the role
Design and develop new automation products, machines, and systems as per project requirements.
Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, assembly drawings, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software.
Conduct research and development activities for new technologies, products, and process improvements.
Develop prototypes and participate in product testing, validation, and performance evaluation.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Service, and Quality departments for smooth project execution.
Analyze product failures and implement design improvements.
Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities when required.
Ensure designs comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements.
Maintain design records, revision history, and engineering documentation.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks CAD software.
Educational Qualification:
Knowledge of machine design, automation systems, manufacturing processes, and engineering calculations.
Understanding of materials, fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of electrical and automation systems will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification:
BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience:
2 to 3 years of experience in Design Engineering, R&D, Machine Design, or Automation Industry.
Pay: From ₹350,000.00 per year
