Project Manager – Space (m/f/d)

As Project Manager in the Space domain at TTTECH, you’ll take the lead in safety‑critical development projects that contribute directly to tomorrow’s space vehicles. You’ll be the central link between our customers and a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders - a role that lets you put your strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills into action and drive the success of our missions.
Your Tasks
Manage project scope, schedule and cost of safety critical space projects
Drive comprehensive and professional project planning, setup, tracking and steering
Develop solution concepts, work break-down structures, effort estimations and resource plans in cooperation with the technical leads
Manage the customer interface and represent the customer internally
Coordinate and lead project team members as well as international development partners and suppliers
Moderate technical discussions, foster strategic decision-making and take over organizational management tasks for our Space projects
Provide ongoing and predictive reporting to management, controlling and other internal or external stakeholders
Your Profile
Completed university degree in a technical field of study (e.g. electronics, computer science, informatics, aerospace engineering)
Several years of experience in project management, ideally in aerospace/space industry
Project management education and/or project management certification (e.g., PMI, PMP) is an asset
Preferably strong knowledge and understanding of embedded systems
Familiarity with space engineering standards (e.g. NASA NPR7150, DO254, DO178, ECSS) is of advantage
Leadership skills with a structured, focused and goal-oriented approach
An open communicator who can understand and convey complex technical topics
Excellent English communication skills

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe") and we offer a minimum salary of € 57,000 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
