Project Engineer

We’re hiring a Project Engineer – Commercial Electrical to support large-scale commercial and institutional electrical construction projects. This role is ideal for someone with commercial electrical contractor experience who wants to grow into full project management while working alongside experienced PMs and field leadership.

The position supports project coordination, field execution, estimating support, scheduling, and communication with general contractors and internal teams.

What You’ll Do

Support commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout

Coordinate with project managers, field teams, electricians, BIM, and estimating departments

Assist with project setup, scheduling, takeoffs, change orders, and documentation

Work closely with general contractors and subcontractors to support project execution

Help manage project timelines, materials, and field coordination

Support RFIs, submittals, and project tracking activities

Coordinate with BIM and design teams to support field-ready project execution

Learn internal project systems and processes while developing toward a PM track

Requirements

Experience working for a commercial electrical contractor strongly preferred

Background in commercial, healthcare, institutional, university, or industrial electrical construction preferred

Experience with project coordination, takeoffs, scheduling, or field support

Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and manage multiple priorities

Strong communication and organizational skills

Experience with Bluebeam, AcuBid, or construction software is a plus

Must be comfortable working onsite and supporting active job sites

Pay: $75,156.45 - $100,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
