Role Overview

This role is for someone who can design systems that are scaled but also isn’t precious about building temporary things when we need a demo, a pilot, or something to show a room full of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain business applications, internal tools, and customer-facing solutions

Assist teams and stakeholders in developing applications using AI-assisted development tools

Review, validate, and improve AI-generated code before deployment

Establish standards and best practices for AI-assisted software development

Create and maintain code review, testing, and deployment processes

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

Support application deployments across cloud and on-premises environments

Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and deployment issues

Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams to deliver solutions quickly and safely

Document development standards, deployment procedures, and operational processes

Evaluate emerging AI development tools and recommend best practices for adoption

Help establish a scalable framework for application development across the organization

Tech Stack

AI-assisted development platforms (Claude Code, ChatGPT)

JFrog Artifactory — artifact management and single-source dependency governance

GitLab / Bitbucket — source control, merge request workflows, and CI/CD pipelines

Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus/Grafana) for monitoring AI service health

Docker and containerized applications

AWS and on-premises infrastructure

Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web application frameworks

PostgreSQL and relational databases

REST APIs and service integrations

Infrastructure automation and configuration management tools

Basic Qualifications

Strong backend experience (startup or production systems)

Comfortable owning systems end-to-end

Strong application development experience in modern programming languages and frameworks

Familiarity with local LLM deployment and inference infrastructure (Ollama or similar)

Experience managing containerized AI workloads in resource-constrained environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building and deploying production applications

Comfortable reviewing, refactoring, and validating code written by others

Understanding software architecture, application lifecycle management, and development best practices

Familiarity with DevOps principles and deployment automation

Ability to balance rapid delivery with maintainability and security

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to establish processes and standards where they may not yet exist
