Fullstack Developer

Job Overview

Plan A Technologies is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer, expert in AI-assisted development. You will work with the architecture of modern, performant applications across the entire stack. The ideal candidate is deeply comfortable using Cursor, OpenAI models, and AI-driven techniques to accelerate delivery, automate repetitive workflows, and maintain a high bar for code quality.

Please note: You must have at least 8+ years of professional development experience across both Frontend and Backend (TypeScript/JavaScript ecosystem) to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable React applications and robust TypeScript/Node.js backend services.

Use Cursor, OpenAI API, and other AI tools extensively to generate, refactor, debug, test, and prototype architectural ideas across the full stack.

Build reusable UI components and frameworks; implement sophisticated state management (Zustand, Redux, etc.) and ensure high performance and accessibility.

Architect scalable microservices and APIs; design schemas for MongoDB/PostgreSQL and optimize for performance and reliability.

Manage infrastructure on Cloudflare (Workers/Pages) and AWS/Azure. Own the full CI/CD pipeline and contribute to DevOps automation.

Implement secure auth/auth layers and API gateways, ensuring seamless data flow between the frontend and backend systems.

Conduct rigorous code reviews, mentor junior/mid-level developers, and stay current with the latest trends in the React and Node.js ecosystems.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.

8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a heavy focus on the TypeScript/JavaScript ecosystem.

Expert-level proficiency in React and modern frontend tooling (Vite, Webpack, Turborepo).

Solid experience with Node.js and frameworks (e.g., NestJS, Hono, Fastify, Express).

Proven experience using Cursor as a primary IDE and leveraging OpenAI models for coding, documentation, and workflow automation.

Hands-on experience with Cloudflare edge compute and either AWS or Azure (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, etc.).

Solid experience with NoSQL (MongoDB) and SQL (PostgreSQL/SQL Server); ability to design schemas and optimize complex queries.

Strong understanding of distributed systems, microfrontends, component-driven design, and message brokers/queuing.

Proficiency in full-stack testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills with solid written and verbal English skills.

Ability to maintain a positive work attitude.
