About the Role
Fabmax Enterprises is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to strengthen our QA/QC systems in fabrication projects. The candidate will ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ASME, while driving continuous improvement in quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
Review and implement WPS, PQR, and ITP documentation.
Conduct inspections for raw material, welding (FCAW, GTAW, SAW), and consumables.
Supervise NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT, VT) and maintain records.
Ensure material traceability, CAPA, and audit‑ready documentation.
Coordinate with clients, third‑party inspectors, and vendors for compliance.
Train shop floor teams on quality standards and fabrication practices.
Support QA/QC reporting including RT summary, weld plan updates, and shop travel cards.
Candidate Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering.
5–8 years of QA/QC experience in fabrication/manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of structural fabrication, ducting, chimney stacks, tanks, silos.
Familiarity with ISO audits and compliance systems.
NDT Level II certification preferred.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
