About the role
Imagine being the heartbeat of the city. As the Marketing Lead for Hong Kong & Macau at Klook, you are the chief architect of growth in our home market. You won't just be managing channels; you will be navigating one of the world's most competitive and fast-paced travel and leisure landscapes.
From dominating the local social conversation on Instagram and Threads to mastering the art of the "flash sale" and high-impact physical-to-digital (O2O) activations, you will ensure Klook remains the go-to "super-app" for both local experiences and outbound travel. You are a strategic visionary who understands the unique nuances of the HK consumer—valuing efficiency, exclusivity, and seamless mobile experiences. You will lead a high-performing team to drive demand, foster brand love, and maintain Klook’s market-leading position.

Lifecycle Marketing: Develop strategies to maximize Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) within the local market, leveraging Klook’s loyalty programs and localized promotions
Outbound & Domestic Balance: Balance the marketing mix between domestic consumption demand and the massive outbound travel demand preferred by HK travelers.
Social commerce & Viral Content Strategy
Platform Mastery: Own the strategy for Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and YouTube, ensuring content is "Social media-worthy" and culturally resonant
Influencer Ecosystem: Lead a sophisticated influencer strategy Klook Kreators, moving beyond traditional celebrities to engage KOL/KOC who drive authentic peer-to-peer recommendations.

Integrated Campaigns & O2O Activations
High-Impact Launching: Execute end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns that bridge the gap between digital buzz and physical presence.
Partner Marketing: Collaborate with major key brands & partners in HK & Macau to co-create exclusive offers that drive conversion & new user acquisition.
Localized Product & User Experience
App Localization: Work with the Product team to ensure the UI/UX reflects the preferences of HK/Macau users (e.g., speed, ease of payment, and specific local language conventions).
Payment & Fintech Integration: Ensure Klook remains at the forefront of local payment trends, optimizing for a frictionless checkout experience across all local wallets and credit card schemes.
Brand Identity & Cultural Relevance
Trend Spotting: Maintain a "finger on the pulse" of HK/Macau pop culture, ensuring Klook’s messaging is timely, relevant, and avoids "tone-deaf" regional generalizations.
Brand Stewardship: Adapt global brand guidelines to fit the local "savvy traveler" persona, ensuring Klook is perceived as both an international travel expert and a local leisure companion.
Data-Driven Leadership
Performance Analytics: Use advanced data tools to monitor campaign ROI, CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), and retention rates, providing the regional leadership team with actionable insights.
Agile Optimization: Pivot strategies quickly based on real-time data, local events, or shifts in travel restrictions/trends.
Strategic Supply Alignment
Merchant Synergy: Work closely with the HK/Macau & other destination supply teams to identify "hero products" and ensure they are marketed with maximum visibility.
Inventory Readiness: Ensure that marketing calendars align with merchant capacity and seasonal peaks (e.g., Lunar New Year, Easter, Summer holidays, etc).
What Will You Need
Professional Experience & Education
Proven Track Record: 10+ years of experience in Marketing, Brand Management, or E-commerce, with at least 5 years in a significant leadership role. Experience in the Travel, OTA (Online Travel Agency), or Lifestyle Tech sector is highly preferred.
Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Leadership & Strategic Mindset
Entrepreneurial Agility: A strong "founder" mentality—highly agile and flexible when facing rapid shifts in consumer behavior and industry/market volatility. You thrive in "Day 1" environments.
Strategic Execution: Big-picture oriented with the ability to define long-term vision, while remaining hands-on enough to ensure flawless execution of details and operational excellence.
Global Vision: Globally minded with the foresight to develop the Klook brand both locally and worldwide. You are a proactive collaborator who excels at working with cross-cultural teams to align local wins with global goals.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
The Master Negotiator: A strong negotiator and rapport builder. You can navigate complex internal stakeholder maps and build high-value external partnerships with ease.
Communication Excellence: Excellent written and oral communication skills. You are a compelling storyteller who can deliver high-impact presentations to C-suite executives and external partners alike.
Trilingual Proficiency: Business-level fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin is essential to manage the HK/Macau market and collaborate effectively with regional headquarters.
Technical & Market Savvy
