About the mission we offer you

The Head of Sales UK is responsible for defining and delivering the UK growth strategy, with a clear mandate to Technip Energies’ presence across new clients, new market sectors and new service offerings.

This role leads the identification, development and conversion of strategic opportunities, with a particular focus on diversifying the client portfolio and accelerating growth in energy transition markets including CCUS, renewables and emerging decarbonisation solutions.

The Head of Sales sets the commercial direction for the UK market, building long-term, senior-level client relationships and positioning Technip Energies as a partner of choice across pre-FEED, FEED and mid-scale EPC opportunities.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, the role ensures that opportunity capture strategies are robust, differentiated and aligned to business priorities, translating market insight into tangible commercial outcomes.

Main Accountabilities

Define and lead the UK sales and business development strategy, aligned to global and regional priorities

Own the growth agenda, with accountability for securing new business, expanding into new markets and increasing share of wallet with key clients

Build and maintain senior, strategic relationships with clients, acting as a credible and trusted partner at executive level

Identify and prioritise high-value opportunities across energy transition and traditional energy markets

Lead the full sales lifecycle from early market engagement through to contract award, including negotiation and closing

Shape and approve capture strategies, ensuring a clear value proposition and competitive positioning for each opportunity

Provide leadership and direction across proposals, ensuring high-quality, commercially robust submissions

Work in close partnership with commercial, delivery and technical teams to ensure alignment between client needs and execution capability

Act as a visible leader in the market, representing Technip Energies at key industry events and forums

Leverage market intelligence, competitor insight and macro trends to inform strategy and identify future growth areas

Drive a culture of commercial discipline, accountability and performance across the sales and business development activities

Qualifications, background, skills and experience required

Significant experience in sales, business development or commercial leadership within engineering, consulting or energy sectors

Demonstrated track record of winning and delivering complex, high-value opportunities

Strong understanding of energy transition markets, including CCUS, hydrogen, renewables or sustainable solutions

Proven ability to operate at senior level with clients, building long-term strategic relationships

Deep commercial acumen, including contract negotiation and deal structuring

Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex pursuits and proposals

Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insight into actionable growth plans

Highly credible communicator with the presence to influence both internally and externally

Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
