As an Area Manager, you will work closely with senior management to optimize sales and margin objectives for multiple stores in full-price and outlet divisions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Empower, develop, and lead high-performance teams that drive sales and achieve store results and profitability through effective training, coaching, and motivational activities.
Create strategic decisions based on the needs of the business, in alignment with company initiatives, and execute an action plan to increase sales and profit.
Coach and mentor your stores on employee performance, sales goals, and opportunities.
Develop business strategies and set achievable goals and targets.
Ensure that all CRM strategies and on-going programs including client acquisition, client retention and customer database management are effectively carried out and maintained across the outlet network.
Implement sales incentives to help boost sales, ensuring your stores are held accountable for achieving set goals.
Ensure your multiple store presentations and visual merchandising standards are maintained according to company directives.
Ensure that all retail stores are fully compliant with financial, HR, legal and retail operation rules and procedures with a view to ensuring operational excellence
Identify and communicate regularly with senior management on product availability and market trends to maximize productivity.
Assure optimum shrinkage results are met by enforcing security measures and maintaining consistent accuracy in inventory levels.
Demonstrates proficiency in managing operational costs and balancing all related budgetary expenses in a cost-efficient manner.
Review the existing teams in terms of ability and structure. Optimize these teams through training and motivation. To have best-in-class teams with strong management both front and back of house in every location.
Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that is customer-focused and demonstrates a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.
YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in multi-unit retail management – luxury experience preferred.
An exceptional understanding of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising, and store operations.
Computer skills to include operation of retail point of sale system, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
