To strengthen our Finance organization, we are looking for a Sr. Associate Financial Analyst DACH (m/f/d) with a focus on Equipment Financial Agreements (EFA) for our Surgical business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. To strengthen our Finance organization, we are looking for a Sr. Associate Financial Analyst DACH (m/f/d) with a focus on Equipment Financial Agreements (EFA) for our Surgical business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
A typical day to day would include:
Discuss equipment financing options with Finance business partners (the sales team) and help them to negotiate contract terms with customers
Interact directly with customers when needed to support contract closure, completion of required documentation, and record management
Analyze financial data and prepare monthly and quarterly reports as well as KPIs
Act as the main point of contact for the Regional EFA Center of Excellence
Apply accounting principles to analyze and prepare financial information, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and consolidated reporting
Support month-end closing activities related to Equipment Financial Agreements
Provide accurate data to the EFA Committee and monitor contract performance, addressing solutions for the non-compliant deals
Coordinate with Bunsiness Planing Analyst, Commercial teams, Customer Service, and Logistics to address and resolve operational topics
Liaise with Financial Reporting & Accounting (FRA) to ensure correct revenue recognition and timely closing
Implement and interpret EFA-related finance policies, support local procedures, and contribute to improving management reporting processes
Manage and track pricing performance and KPIs for DACH markets, including:
Average Selling Price (ASP) reporting
Price erosion analysis as part of quarterly business reviews
Support project management initiatives to continuously improve the implementation of Equipment Finance Solutions
Work closely with the Pricing team on pricing topics and new commercial solution execution, campaigns
What You’ll Bring to Alcon
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Mathematics, or a comparable field
Fluent German and English skills (written and spoken)
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
First experience in an analyst or finance-related role is an advantage but not required
Structured, accurate, and self-driven working style
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Good MS excel knowledge is an advantage
