As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.

Typical Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP):

Process supplier invoices, verify approvals, prepare payments

Accounts Receivable (AR):

Issue invoices, track incoming payments, follow up on overdue balances

General Ledger support:

Post journal entries, assist with accruals and prepayments

Bank & account reconciliations:

Match transactions and resolve discrepancies

Month-end close assistance:

Support reporting, check balances, prepare schedules

Documentation & audit support:

Maintain proper records and assist auditors with documentation

Expense processing:

Review employee expense claims in line with company policy

Profile / Skills

Degree or vocational training (e.g., Kaufmann/-frau, Steuerfachangestellte)

Basic knowledge of German GAAP (HGB)

Familiarity with SAP / Excel

Strong attention to detail

German + English

Positioning

Works under supervision of a Senior Accountant / Finance Manager

Focus on execution rather than judgment/complex accounting
