Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹70,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience, expertise, and industry background)
Job Summary
Stichwell Exports Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager – Ladies Leather Handbags to oversee and manage the complete production process of ladies handbags from cutting to final packing.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in leather handbag manufacturing, production planning, manpower management, line balancing, quality control, productivity improvement, and shipment execution. The candidate must be capable of leading production teams and ensuring timely delivery of export-quality products while maintaining efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production and shipment targets.
Ensure smooth workflow from cutting, stitching, edge painting, assembly, finishing, inspection, and packing.
Coordinate with merchandising and planning teams regarding production schedules and delivery commitments.
Ensure timely completion of orders as per approved production plans.
Factory Operations Management
Supervise all production departments and monitor daily output.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and resources.
Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and identify bottlenecks affecting production flow.
Implement corrective actions to minimize production delays.
Productivity & Efficiency Improvement
Improve line efficiency and operator productivity.
Conduct regular production reviews and performance monitoring.
Reduce rework, rejection, and material wastage.
Support implementation of lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
Quality Control & Compliance
Ensure production quality meets buyer specifications and company standards.
Coordinate closely with QA/QC teams to maintain quality consistency.
Ensure adherence to approved samples and technical specifications.
Support corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
Manpower Management
Lead and supervise supervisors, line leaders, and production staff.
Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
Conduct training and skill development activities.
Maintain discipline and teamwork within the production department.
Material & Inventory Coordination
Coordinate with Stores and Purchase Departments for timely availability of leather, fabrics, fittings, hardware, and accessories.
Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
Ensure uninterrupted production due to material availability.
Reporting & MIS
Prepare daily production reports, efficiency reports, and shipment status reports.
Monitor target versus actual production performance.
Submit production updates and improvement plans to management.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Ladies Leather Handbag Manufacturing Processes.
Understanding of leather, PU, synthetic materials, fittings, hardware, linings, and trims.
Expertise in stitching, edge painting, assembly, finishing, and packing operations.
Knowledge of production planning, line balancing, and manpower management.
Ability to identify and resolve production-related issues quickly.
Management Skills
Strong leadership and team management ability.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Computer Skills
MS Excel
Production Reporting
ERP knowledge preferred
Educational Qualification
Graduate in any discipline.
Diploma/Degree in Production, Industrial Engineering, Leather Technology, or related field will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
Minimum 8–15 years of experience in Ladies Leather Handbags Manufacturing.
At least 3–5 years in a Production Manager or Senior Production Supervisory role.
Experience in Export Houses or Export-Oriented Manufacturing Units will be highly preferred.

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a hands-on production professional who understands ladies leather handbag manufacturing from cutting to final dispatch and can lead production teams effectively while ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
Candidates with proven experience in Ladies Leather Handbags, Leather Handbags, Fashion Bags, and Export Manufacturing will be given strong preference.
