About the Role
Due to recent major project wins (including PA Gold and Samarco) and a robust pipeline of new orders anticipated for Q2 and Q3 2026, we are expanding our team. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate our Engineering & Procurement (EP) and complex equipment upgrade projects.
In this role, you will hold full operational and financial accountability to ensure that projects are executed safely, on time, within scope, and on budget. You will serve as the primary leadership interface for cross-functional technical teams, driving operational excellence and safeguarding both contractual rights and risk management plans.
Key Accountabilities
Project Leadership: Lead and manage EP or complex upgrade projects, taking full responsibility for the end-to-end Engineering and Procurement lifecycles.
Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans that detail all deliverables, critical paths, and milestones, ensuring rigorous follow-up and execution tracking.
Team Governance: Direct, mentor, and lead a multi-disciplinary technical project team, which includes engineering leads from Mechanical, Electrical, and Procurement functions.
Financial & Progress Reporting: Oversee the project’s financial health and milestones; deliver comprehensive monthly and quarterly progress reports to regional senior management.
Risk & Contract Management: Ensure the project Risk Management Plan is continuously updated and active. Actively manage the contract to ensure full compliance with all corporate rights and technical obligations.
Leadership & Goal Setting: Supervise and set clear performance goals and objectives for technical team members to achieve operational results. Ensure corporate policies, practices, and engineering procedures are understood and followed by all direct reports, clients, and stakeholders.
Safety Culture: Actively promote a culture of personal and team safety, ensuring all operational activities adhere strictly to corporate health and safety regulations.
Hiring Requirements & Technical Profile
Job Family: Plant, Product, and Upgrade Project Management.
Experience Level: Manager level with a proven track record leading technical, complex engineering teams or large-scale project squads.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong capability to address operational hurdles and resource management challenges efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Industry Background: Previous experience in heavy industry, mining capital equipment, or large-scale processing plant upgrades is highly desirable.
