About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Accounts Executive to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing invoice preparation, tracking payment status, and coordinating follow-ups to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Invoice & ERP Management
○ Post all invoices accurately and on time in the ERP system.
○ Request missing or delayed invoices from debtors and creditors.
○ Resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
Accounts Receivable & Payable
○ Follow up with debtors for pending payments through professional email communication.
○ Monitor overdue invoices and escalate as required.
○ Send weekly/monthly Statements of Accounts (SOA) to customers and agents.
Network & Agent Claim Handling
○ Track outstanding payments from overseas agents.
○ Raise claims with network partners or global agency networks for agents who do not pay within agreed timelines.
○ Maintain documentation and evidence required for claim submission and follow-ups.
○ Coordinate with the on-shore accounts/network relations team to resolve disputes.
Coordination & Documentation
○ Request debtor or creditor account numbers from the on-shore accounts team.
○ Maintain accurate records of invoices, follow-up emails, payment proofs, and claim submissions.
Skills & Qualifications
● 0 - 1 year experience in a similar role in the freight forwarding industry.
● Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● Strong attention to detail and good communication skills & email etiquette.
● Basic understanding of MS Office (especially Excel).

Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
