Your role:

Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with French GAAP and IFRS for international companies, including relevant notes to the financial statements.

Maintenance, analysis, and reconciliation of local French GAAP books as well as confident reconciliation of differences with other accounting standards.

Close collaboration with external payroll and tax partners to ensure compliance with all local legal requirements.

Proactive coordination with internal teams (Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, Business Controlling) to ensure smooth operations in the finance department.

Preparation and timely filing of all local financial reports (e.g., sales tax returns, corporate tax prepayments, tax returns)—you will also serve as a competent point of contact during the annual closing process for auditors, business controllers, management, and regulatory authorities.

What you bring to the table:

Several years of relevant professional experience in the finance or accounting field, ideally in an international context.

Excellent qualifications as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or a successfully completed degree, preferably from a renowned university, in the field of finance, accounting, or a comparable discipline.

In-depth knowledge of French GAAP (required); experience with IFRS and/or HGB is a plus.

Very strong Excel skills and confidence using reporting and analysis tools.

Fluency in spoken and written French and English; knowledge of German is a plus.
