Position Overview: A R&D, Legal Compliance, and Risk Management Manager is responsible for overseeing research and development initiatives while ensuring that all activities comply with legal regulations and managing potential risks. This role combines strategic oversight of R&D projects with a strong focus on legal and risk mitigation to protect the organization and drive innovation.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage R&D projects from conception through completion. Ensure that research activities align with the organization's strategic goals and innovation targets.

Develop and manage the R&D budget, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within financial constraints.

Ensure that all company activities, particularly R&D projects, comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Develop, implement, and maintain company policies that ensure legal compliance across all operations. Regularly review and update policies to reflect changes in laws and regulations.

Identify potential risks related to R&D activities, including technical, financial, legal, and operational risks. Evaluate the impact and likelihood of these risks.

Respond to and manage incidents that pose risks to the organization. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements:

A Master's degree in a related field such as Law or Business Administration is a must.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of R&D, Legal Compliance and Risk management including at least 2 years of experience as a manager or team lead.

Extensive experience in R&D, legal compliance, and risk management, preferably within a related industry. A strong understanding of the intersection between innovation, legal regulations, and risk.

Strong understanding of R&D processes, project management, and product development. Familiarity with legal regulations and compliance standards relevant to the industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify risks, and develop practical solutions.

Meticulous attention to detail in managing compliance documentation, risk assessments, and R&D records.
