We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Senior Account Manager to drive growth and strengthen customer relationships within our Fine Chemicals and Specialty Additives portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of the chemical market, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build long-term partnerships across key accounts in Latin America, with a preference for experience in the Southern Cone.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a strong business mindset, acting as a trusted advisor to customers while identifying and unlocking new growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share within assigned accounts.

Manage and relationships with key customers, acting as a trusted partner and business advisor.

Identify new business opportunities within the fine chemicals and specialty additives portfolio, aligning solutions to customer needs.

Lead commercial negotiations, ensuring sustainable and profitable agreements.

Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, supply chain, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to anticipate risks and opportunities.

Drive pipeline development and forecasting accuracy, leveraging CRM and SAP tools.

Support business expansion strategies across Latin America, with a focus on regional market dynamics and customer needs.

Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Strategic Administration, International Relationships or related fields (mandatory).

Business or commercial education (e.g., MBA or similar) is highly valued.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the chemical industry, preferably in:

Specialty additives (Coatings, Plastics, PVC, Polymers , Asphalts)

Fine chemicals (Oral Care, Metal treatment, Brazing)

Raw materials distribution or manufacturing (Integrated raw materials supply, including manufacturing and distribution)

Proven track record in account management, business development, or sales within B2B environments.

Experience in Latin America markets, preferably in the Southern Cone, is highly desirable.

Technical & Professional Skills

Strong knowledge of chemical products, applications, and market dynamics.

Proficiency in CRM tools for sales management and reporting/ SAP. (Proficient with SAP (forecasting) and Salesforce (pipeline and account management).

Advanced commercial and negotiation skills with a strategic mindset.

Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for customers.

Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

Languages

English: Advanced / Fluent (mandatory)

Spanish: Desired

“The annual base salary range for this position is $270,000 BRL - $300,000 BRL. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations."
