We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction and ground engineering team in Ang Mo Kio. This permanent role offers a five-and-a-half-day workweek with standard office hours (44 hours per week) and a competitive salary package including allowances, AWS, and variable bonuses. What You’ll Be Doing
Develop and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial plans for foundation and civil engineering works.
Monitor and evaluate project expenditures, variations, and overall financial progress against set budgets.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to assess the viability of upcoming projects.
Collaborate with project teams to prepare tender submissions, contracts, and procurement schedules.
Review, assess, and negotiate proposals from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective agreements.
Prepare valuations and detailed cost reports for senior management and client review.
Ensure all project activities comply with legal, safety, and environmental standards.
Draft contractual communications with the Project Manager, submitting claims and notices as required.
Submit payment applications promptly, follow up on certifications, and close accounts efficiently.
Manage subcontractor accounts, including work orders, monthly payments, and final account reconciliations.
Compile monthly reports detailing sales figures and subcontractor liabilities for Project Manager review.
Verify accurate measurement of completed works to secure contractual entitlements.
What We’re Looking For
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying, preferably with a main contractor in Singapore’s construction sector.
Proven track record in managing project budgets, costs, and financial reporting.
Strong understanding of contracts, procurement processes, and tendering procedures.
Ability to analyze technical documents and financial data with precision.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in foundation works, LTA, and MRT projects is an added advantage.

This Other role pays $72k-$90k/yr. Within typical range for other roles in Singapore.
