Our Client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive data-led growth within the Grocery & Retail segment. This role plays a key part in shaping strategy, optimizing performance, and delivering actionable insights across commercial, marketing, and operations teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in ur Berlin office. We will conduct interviews starting in July.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the analytics strategy for Grocery & Retail, defining roadmaps and delivering high-impact data solutions
Perform deep-dive analyses on key accounts and initiatives using SQL and advanced analytics
Monitor business performance and guide test-and-learn commercial strategies
Translate complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders
Design and build metrics, dashboards, and automated reporting using Tableau, Python, and BigQuery
Collaborate cross-functionally with analytics, commercial, marketing, and operations teams
Mentor and support junior analysts, fostering a high-performing team environment
Drive continuous improvements in business performance, trade strategies, and operational efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience in commercial, sales, or retail analytics
Strong SQL proficiency for data extraction and analysis
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker)
Proven ability to apply advanced analytics techniques (e.g., regression, causal inference)
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in grocery, retail, or quick commerce industries
Familiarity with Python and cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery)
Experience building executive-level presentations and narratives
Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus
